This granny sleepover sounds amazing. We should knit and bake cakes and put our hair in rollers. Ok there are some parts of getting old I think I will enjoy.

YAY ARE WE GOING TO HAVE A SLEEPOVER?!?!

Since I'm still figuring out job stuff (my current job makes me no money because I spend it all in gas) I don't know exactly the dates I will be there, but I'm making sure I'll be in Eugene in July. Let's have a sleepover. And bake cookies. Beverley, can you invite all your friends that like JNew over and we'll Skype with everyone and have a gigantic Joanna Newsom party? This is all going in the wrong thread because this sounds amazing.

I was thinking that this is too pleasant of a conversation for the thread that it's in! Yes, yes, yes, we are definitely having a sleepover. I realized I don't have a whole lot of real-life friends who love JNew, but I will summon Clark down from Portland and Veronica down from that hill she lives on. Do you like swimming? I was thinking we could all head out to my favorite reservoir for a night swim, since July is one of those awful, hot months. Gosh, I'm getting so excited! My heart can't take this.

Sara, I have some good news for you: there isn't much sand in this reservoir, it's mostly rocks and water plants. There's a bridge I like to jump off of, which is safe because the water is deep. Also, it's at the base of a mountain range and the light pollution isn't horrible since it's not too close to any cities. The sky is dark and the stars are really bright.
