I used to think she was obnoxious, but I “Have to Drive” and “Ampersand” changed my mind. I don’t think she’s too different from Kate Bush in the sense that their theatrical traits can put people off.

What are "feminine" and "masculine" but socially constructed gender roles we're conditioned to conform to pretty much from the moment our head crowns? They're not concrete or innately associated with biological sex in any sense. Many cultures have existed that acknowledged the existence of a third gender, many have existed in which gender role for males and females were dramatically different from how they are in ours.
Of course it's not right to criticise people for conforming to gender embodiments (i.e. 'feminine' clothing, 'feminine' self-presentation) if that's what they feel comfortable with, especially if they don't actually conform to their expected roles (e.g. you're a feminist, so you're unlikely to say, "What's wrong with women being in the kitchen rather than politics? I like cooking!"). It's equally wrong to criticise others for embodying in any other way they please, though.

nooo that wasn't i wanted to say, i'm not critizice girls who doesn't want to wear heels, all the "butch women" in the feminist group i'm quite part of ACT like men, you know, they overact their own being in order to gain social and or political power, it's a shame they think a woman have to act like a man to have such power, in an other way, i was friend in belgium with overacting gay, i mean very mannered guy, in private, at home they act as they are, feminine but not so much, and in public, they transform them into cabaret parody.

Of course the glamour thing is my mind, as i'm into this japanese representation, to be well presented is a respect mark but i'm ok everybody isn't in my board. I'm just critic against sex acting in order to obtain other sex advantages. Hope it's a lil bit more clearer

Yeah, I get it. In the case of gays deliberately violating gender norms in a very visible way, though, there's a whole history behind it, with the important role of high visibility in pride parades and stuff. There's also an element of theatre to it - people dressing up and playing a role for fun.
I know what you mean about feminist lesbians who do that, though. It always seemed kind of counterintuitive, to me - it seems kind of like saying that women need to be more like men in order to be empowered.
