OMG just saw the compo of pureology product, it's full of shit ! it's probably the worst product ever seen since the 90's !
dimethicone, paraben, petroleum, mica, glucol esthers etc...it's so pricey, and it's so full of disastrous material for hair and skin it's scandalous !

i use the rainforest hair butter from bodyshop after the shampoo, i didn't use it as a rinsing mask but a few nut as day cream for hair (once per week as i wash my hair once)

I bought Pureology (when I had money) and am using it now but I've found my Trader Joes Tea Tree is much better and it's only 4 bucks. If I had endless funds I'd buy Arbonne stuff.

I used Swarzkopf when I wan in Europe. I never spend money on beauty products. During the summer, I use Dr. Bronners for everything at camp. I use soooo much conditioner! My hair needs to be cut sooooooo bad!

That doesn't bother me in the slightest. Hair grows, it gets cut, why does it matter if it gets damaged in the meantime? As long as it looks and feels fine.

I used to use only organic stuff. But it's way too expensive. Now I only use products that aren't tested on animals.

Me too! I used to use BeadHead, but now I am just fine with herbal essences. I don't put anything on my skin for moisture. my skin is super dry, but it's also super super sensitive. I have a bunch of victorian toilette recipes I have been meaning to make, but finding ambergris has proven to be difficult. and prussic acid is cyanide. that is not going on my face! I use talcum powder straight up for my face powder. It gives me a nice matte porcelain finish. I love makeup so much. I want to work doing funeral makeup, so I guess that is an important aspect.

pleeeaaaassseee stop put talcum on face, there is metal oxyde bad for face, good for ass, remember, and you HAVE to moisture skin and body, not an expensive cream, you're young but a good one.
@tom the pb is that silicone (dimethicone) act like a plastic topcoat on hair, of course it's soft and shiny but innner the hair, it's a mess, hair's has no air, it's like a plant ! and it's act like that to headskin too, which is worst, dunno that parabens is one of the cause of female cancer? of course, you're not one but it's like aspartam, it can touch anybody.
it's easier for me as i'm living 20min road to germany, and germany is THE country of organic, so i'm buying a grocery brand which is natural, not organic but whithout phtalates, sulfates, paraben, silicon, my shampoo is 1.75€ my anti wrinkle cream 3.95€, body anti aging balm 2.75€, mascara 3.95€, eye pencil 0.95€ etc...
of course organic product seems does't act like chemicals one but it's farely better.

actually i bought ambergris in istanbul souk, it's extremely expensive, 25€ 3ml of oil concentrate, whith my doc bronner unscented balm i made two amber concrete

i'm a doc bronner addict, my best friend in boston bring me back each year liter and liter of soap, it's so concentrate , one little bottle is 6months of cleansing, but i'm a collectible girl. I just stop last time and buy naked soap and make my own with essential oils

I know talcum powder is bad for the skin. I am a huge historical nerd. So it's better than white lead and crushed beetles. I made my own lipsalve with anise extract, beeswax, and alkanet root to colour it red.

black is crap, it's this cheap gothic color, try deep deep brown, it's smarter.

i bought camelia oil for hair, try twice and it's good, it nourishes my hair deeply whithout an heavy greasiness on hair

i bought it in france, i'm afraid american prices are extremely expensive as the french ones but look at the products

My hair already is dark brown. I think black hair would be cool because I am almost aways dressed in white.
