I'm seemingly incapable of getting good grades in school due to my obstinance when being told to do something by a certain date. But, I managed to get 3 A's and a B+ this semester, the latter being only because I had a paper due the day I was so ill I couldn't move all day and the instructor is mean and wouldn't give me more time.

I'm proud of myself.

Also, I'm soooo close to having a college degree, and while that will be kinda cool to say, I really don't want to have to be an adult.

Oh no! Whichtitch! I don't want to burst any bubbles but I must advise that you not get that harp! They barely even suffice as practice harps. Those are what are called by harpists as "harp-shaped objects". They're all over the internet.

I've played one before, you'd be lucky if the levers even work. It sounded like elastics strung through a kleenex box. That being said I've heard some report satisfactory results with those harps.

Please check these harps out instead... or the . They are slightly more expensive, especially the Ravenna 26 with levers, which will be about 700 pounds, but it's worth it in the long run.

Or, you can do what I did and find a harp dealer and maybe rent one for a year. I got a full size lever harp that way.

Do it. They're not bad!

They sound best with a gentle pluck though, unlike the taut-strung harps from Lyon and Healy, Salvi etc...

I'd be tempted to get a harpsicle if I had extra money.

I first considered buying a harp when I saw one in a music store in Germany, back in the 80's. It was relatively cheap, but I just didn't think I could spare the cash. Joanna brought back the idea, and now you showed me that it's not too expensive for a lower-end model like a Harpsicle. It's very tempting, but I doubt that I would ever devote the time to be any good at it. Maybe if I had bought one in the 80's, but my motivation is a lot less than it was then.

hi! i'm glad to return

i'm home on break after finishing up the first quarter of my second year at college. i received 3 A's and one B, so I am very, very happy! Those final days of stressing over a 10 page paper on WWI female literature along with trying to study for exams were overwhelming. But now I feel rewarded.

i am optimistic. the only thing missing really is that i want to be in love with someone again, but i know that will happen in time.
