I know someone who did that last year from Cambridge, Jordan, they're now back and having a much better time of it now it's the right time. I hope you enjoy your freedom for a year

I googled him and found website. Peter, is this who you were talking about? I'm an eighth Cherokee but was raised without learning anything about the culture. Over the years I've become very interested in learning about that part of my heritage. I've read a number of books about the tribe, and I subscribe to the tribal newsletter through . I've even downloaded Cherokee language lessons, but it's so difficult to devote the time and energy to study when there are so many other things competing for my time. Maybe in my next life.

polli, yes that site is about him though I believe a group of Japanese folks set that up on his behalf- don't know anything about it.
He was part of the siege of Wounded Knee in '73

It has been many years since I have seen him or spent time on the Rosebud reservation in South Dakota
Very cool you are part Cherokee Polli, I know a bit of Lakota, - more of the ceremonial songs and such, not fluent.
