Oh yay! The banjo earrings I have had for years, and I love them so much! I went in with a picture of courtney love, and wanted it. It came out perfect.

P, I am not sure how a pixie would look on you. It could be really cute. I like you with shorter hair.

A friend of mind had just the fringe with the rest shaved and I think she called herself some kind of peace punk. She was beautiful too, it really worked for her. But she bleached the fringe white blond.

That looks really good Sara but I wouldn't recommend having just a fringe; I've seen people around London with that and I think it always looks pretty crappy.

I never did anything unusual with my hair when I was a teen...except be the first guy within miles of where I lived who had long hair. In the early 60's no self-respecting guy would have any hairstyle except a crewcut, a flat-top, a Pompadour (like Elvis), or a Duck-Tail (D.A.). I started growing my hair as soon as I heard and saw the Beatles.

My friend made a really good point in saying 'nobody wants to get their hair cut by a skinhead'. So I am not going to, for now. But I do think I might shave something fun into the back. Like the Dr Who logo.

I'm quite pleased. Pretty much exactly how I wanted it to look. It's strange having such low-maintenance hair.
