I'm wanting to grow my hair out again but it was so annoying when it was long. It got in the way all the time. I also burnt a section of my hair with a malfunctioning straightener (i feel like I should be able to sue the manufacturer, that thing fried my hair with just one slide down one section) and it's still so gross and frizzy in that one spot and I don't know if I should cut it out and hope no one notices? Point is, I don't have very healthy hair, so growing it out may not be a good idea.

I am going to do a medium blue soon. My hair is red-black now from dying the shit out of it (permanent burgundy that faded with cheap shampoo and semi-perm black). I think it'll really bring out my eyes (they are amber).

if you do blue on black you'll end up with purple /brown, i do light blue gloss on ginger (in my head it'll turn into brown) i ended with bottle green and have to cut my hair be carefull and try a inch hidden in the neck

in your case i really don't bleach on dark spotted colored hair, bleach is not enough, you have to go to the hairdresser to do a "décapage" then bleach, but you will hurt your hair so deeply, i'm sure then you have to cut a big part of it. don't don't!!it'll be a mess, turn again in blue/black with a smooth manic panic blue.

Manic Panic doesn't last nearly long enough. I could never ever cut my hair. I am so attached to it. My friend used a lightener that just removes some of the colour, turning her black brown hair to a medium blonde, and it was fine. But her hair is super short, and I don't think it would be nice on my long, damaged hair.

I like what you said, Milki, about doing black henna then indigo. I think blue would be so so nice on my eyes.

NO NO NO no black henna it contains metal salts, it's regular true henna THEN indigo, ok it's in french but look at the picture! the black you see is just regular copper henna, then rince, then pure indigo, i can translate recipes if you want

and i really don't know how your friend got blondeon dark with lightening, as the result is ALWAYS something like burnt reddish ginger, if you want blonde on black you have to use tons of heavy lightener, believe me i used all the colors available, and i've a great colorist by my hairdresser salon and i can't count all the time he had to color me in black due to my "experience"
