If you want a job repairing something, are you required to pass a grueling series of psychological tests to ensure that you're physically and mentally incapable of meeting a deadline? Feel a little dead inside for a while now. I'm somewhere so amazingly beautiful and I feel nothing. Maybe suffering with a little depression. It's weird, I feel sad because I can't feel anything.

I'm so tired all the time and I feel like I have too much to do. I've been falling behind in my classes because I spend waaaay too much time driving (I seriously spend about 4.5 hours in the car on a busy day, 2 on a light day) and I just have too much to do. I need to sleep more. I shouldn't still be tutoring, but I really need to have to experience for when I graduate but am still working on my teaching certificate so I can find a job in education and not have to suffer through another horrible horrible job like the one I have at my grandfather's business. It's like The Office, but a nightmare version, where everybody is not only strange and quirky, but also horrible and mean. I haven't talked to my husband in two days because our schedules are the exact opposite. Then whenever I feel like complaining (all the time), I feel guilty. I'm lucky that I have a job and that I'm finishing a degree that has been 1/2 paid for by grants. So many people manage to do way more than I do, and do it well. So then I just feel tired, stressed, and guilty all the time. I need a break so badly.

I will look into dysthymia, I do feel like that a lot of the time. I only feel things for stuff that is imaginary, don't feel like I am a part of the real world sometimes.


And Ann, don't feel guilty, you sound like you have a lot on your plate. Maybe you do need a break.

I got a break. The lovely family I tutored for offered to let me have the rest of the semester off, and I can return once I graduate. Amazing.

Really irritable today, which is odd, since I've not felt this way since I started on ADHD meds. At least I'm not like this every other day, too.

Concerta XL (methylphenidate). It's been pretty good; haven't had any problems with it.
