I missed your snap announcement due to holiday - and when I thought about it, I decided you must've meant July NEXT year, so I cancelled the "congrats" message I had prepared for the "Big Day" ... ok since you're having a family version, too, maybe we should call it the "Medium-sized Day".

As for the pics - it would appear to be a 'closed book' and - like Queenofnerds - I can see in there either. When you have a spare moment (not now) it wouldbe great to see a few of them on here.

I've been going through a strange patch in my life. Big surprise! I am always going through something right?

Dunno if it is just being in my 30s (nearly half way through) you start to look old, you can see the way your face is going to age and there is no getting away from it. That is so shallow I know 'cos in some ways I think I am better than I have ever been. Like smarter, more productive and reliable.

I keep making mistakes on the love side of things and my boyfriend so far, appart from being quite negligent, seems to really love me. He always says the nicest things to, always tells me I am beautiful and that I am his soul mate but the attention isn't there. He is always lost in some hobby and I can't talk to him, he never listens. I don't think he means it, it's just his way. Not sure how many more times I can have that talk with him, because it doesn't change anything and we have been close to the end so many times. Even his mum says she feels sorry for me!
He is definitely ocd, once he gets started on something that's it, he knows everything about it and it is his every waking thought.
The big problem is I have always been prone to wonder in my mind, I have a very good imagination, unfortunately at the moment it is geared towards romance and not with my boyfriend. I am obsessed too, with the idea of being in love, not sure how to kick that habit and stay happy with the boy.
We have quite open conversations about it and I think he understands though it must hurt him so much.
Oh god I make a mess of everything and he is the worst person to be with for this as I have lots of time to allow my imagination to take me wherever it wants.
Sometimes all I think about is that other man. He is happy and not engaging anymore, so glad about that but I do send him messages still, it's like a confessional. He never sends back and I think perhaps he is deleting my messages but there is something comforting about it, not sure I am better for it though.

Sorry to offload all of this on you guys

don't know what really to say,, except i understand the whole thing. But you definitely have to do someting with your BF, break off the routine or you'll die, or quit him...it's certain it an't last for long in that situation, there's a matter of seduction, sexuality, desire, creativity, but you both have thingss to do. Perhaps if you change, dress, hair, new makeup, he'll see someone ne, perhaps someone he wants to seduce again, as it seems he treats you as a buddy...but you're not. And for the other thing "the other guy" i'm speechless, i really understand that thrill, that craviness of new, but it reflects that you're not happy in your couple i guess, i know that i'm not so that's why i'm looking on the side.

I do try to dress up but he doesn't really pay much attention when I do

the one thing I guess I haven't tried is being more independant, I always serve him like a proper old fassioned wife! I think I get it from my mum, she has a tendancy to look after men as if they are babies, I do the same for him. Maybe If he sees me doing my own thing and not paying too much attention to him he might want me. It's difficult also as I don't know how I feel about him either, spent so much time in my own head thinking about this other guy I don't feel connected to my man anymore.

It's our 21st aniversery today! I am going to try and get my head back in the game now and be a good woman. He is a good man, maybe a bit boring and passionless but he does love me.

Most people celebrate their 21st year when they are in their 50s or 60s!!

That's the thing, when we started it was all fire and passion I must not forget that.

It is a shame I won't see him till 11 tonight

we really do speak different languages and mean different things. Men need to" hear" that you love them unconditionaly, because anything else makes them fear the relationship is in jeopardy. So try saying things like: i'm really happy in our relationship, but you know what would make me even more happy? If you would just ravish me sometimes unexpectedly like you used to?(srry my bad attempt)

heh maybe you should get the book (men are from mars...)and gather some clues about how men think about what women mean when they speak to them, it might offer you some work arounds that will aid you in relighting that passion, without making things worse.
