My brother used to rave. Rave kids are weird!

My friends and I used to have very innocent "raves" (see, we called them that as a joke pretty much). In high school, we'd go to empty parking lots at night, turn all our cars on techno radio stations, turn the emergency lights on, and jump around maniacally. We were all very into being sober and being idiots because we're idiots not because of any substance. Twas quite fun, looking back on it.

After you go to a few raves clubbing just seems really weird and strict. I looove raving. Going to a big acid house rave in this giant carpark in london when my exams end. Super excited.

This isn't something good that turned bad or vice versa, but it's good and bad at the same time! I CANNOT get Sawdust and Diamonds out of my head! I don't know why! It started like 4 days ago. I don't mind having Joanna lyrics in my head, but the thing is, they keep me up at night, circling over and over in my mind. And I go throughout my day wanting to exclaim them constantly, but knowing that it would not be appropriate in most situations. Then I get home and sing it until my voice gives out.
I am not sure what started this, but I am having a sudden Joanna obsession surge. I always love her, but I definitely go periods without thinking about her or listening to her much, and then BAM! I'm having some kind of existential crisis and suddenly I need Joanna more than I need food. AND THAT IS SAYING A LOT BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE FOOD.
Anyway, this is all a mixed blessing because of course everything Joanna-related is wonderful, but it also brings out the tiny bit of OCD I have hidden under layers of scatterbrained-ness and makes me feel like I am living on a different planet from everyone else or something. I don't know how else to explain it. It's like, I am constantly this guy: :hyper:

I was wringing my hands because my mum said I had to have my blood taken before they would give me concerta. It turns I just have to have my blood pressure taken! Everything turned out okay.

Sometimes they take a blood sample before you go on certain medication to make sure it's not going to kill you. I thought that might have been the case with concerta, but it turns out they just need to take a measurement of your blood pressure so they know whether or not it has adverse effects on your heart.
Now I've taken it and I feel like I've taken a very small amount of something illegal.

Which I would have if I didn't have a prescription. I'm not blinking as much and I think it is a little bit easier to focus on stuff.

Whaaat? No one checked my blood pressure before putting me on any drugs! What if I have a heart problem?! One day when my family was sitting around, we all used my grandma's blood pressure machine. My blood pressure was within the healthy range, but my heart rate was at 98 beats a minute. I'd been sitting, relaxed, for over an hour. That scared me, like my heart is on the verge of exploding. :/
