woo life because PJ Harvey won the Mercury Prize for Let England Shake,
and i always get some (undeserved) feeling of accomplishment and (probably deserved) happiness whenever PJ does anything of note,
but especially getting widespread recognition like now

so now people will be like "have you heard of this really awesome woman PJ Harvey her album rocks" and i can proudly say she's my favorite artist and she's won album of the year twice in ten years and share all my b-sides and bootlegs with them and have even more concert-buddies!

Having quite a nice, relaxed weekend. Went for tea with my mum, Dad and sister. And it's amazing how getting some housework done lifts your mood.

I prefer to roll my unlit Marlboro between my fingers, sprinkling the tobacco over my salad of lettuce, spinach, sliced cucumbers and beets, shredded red cabbage and carrots, feta cheese, Greek olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and raspberry vinaigrette. Mmmmm! Tasty!

I never leave my house. But not leaving my bedroom is extra hermit-y. And the weather here is remarkably cool for Florida, so my window is open! I am getting the dog smell out of my room.
