eh, not a fan of the colour- it's one of those standard 'alternative' colours that seems a good idea but in theory looks awful. Perhaps more of a purpley colour with less reddy tones?

need to bleach my hair and go brighter red.

You have curly long hair right? I would do chunks of bright red.

i used plum and atlantic blue, loved plum so much...
if i had short fait hair i loooove to try pastel pink, my sister do it once and it was extra nice, very smooth, quite natural

Aha, just used the Colour B4 colour stripper (I wanted to see what would happen). This happened:


Which is interesting. I'm leaving it for shiggles, as I've always wanted to be ginger, but I'll be dying it at some point cos it's still darker underneath. (Apologies for the pic, not at my best)

This is a combination of medium brown chestnutty hair, dyed all the colours of the rainbow for five years, henna'd about 5 times, bleached, dyed some more, and then stripped using a shop bought thing.

I'm not quite sure how it happened, nor how I should cover my roots up.

perhaps will i NOT do the same thing , just bought my usual soft bleaching kit plus crazy clor orange and coral red just to enhanced light bleached stripes, have to wait the end of my current job

i really like the plum, and poppy red. what if i did poppy red and rubine?

i like rubine but poppy red is too much punk, like dirty punk, and i don't like the way red fades...why not plum and rubine, combien or stripes? on bleached dark hair (not bleach as white) plum is more redish as on fairly platinum hair, on my natural cedar blonde lariche plum was eggplant (very nice!)
my advice is to choose the color in function of your hair lengh, pale color on frizzy long hair is awful, it always look cheap, but dark color is romantic and funny, when i used plum, it was extremely excentric but noone notice it as that, i looked romantic! my sis was black blue she look like a religion prof, now she's platinum and was babypink it was super nice!
so i advice you to be plum, or deep violet, with few rubine bright stripes if you want...or cut your hair

i found a nice organic plum dye at my healf food store.
