Jim, don't get sad, get angry. I know it seems like too much for one person to fight, but you should join an organisation. Go on demos, meet other people who feel the same way about the world we live in. There are plenty of us out there.

I don't mean to sound indelicate, but are you on any medication? I know it can seem like all it'd do is rob you of clarity of vision, make you content with something no one ought to be content with, but speaking from experience, it doesn't. It just makes you able to cope and function - well enough to be able to join the good fight, perhaps.
